I want you all to know that we have two kids out with pink eye!  Please make sure you watch your children close,

I would hate for anyone else to get it.  I have washed everything down as good as I could so I hope we can

continue to be healthy.  We have done really good this year.  Thank you so much for keeping your kids home when

they are sick.  Just another reminder:  Don't forget preschool is tomorrow instead of Thursday. Next week it will be

Information!

Parents,  I just want to remind you that preschool will be held on Tuesday and Wednesday this week and next week.  If you could would you please pay your March tuition on Wednesday, February 29th.  That will keep my daughter from having to deal with it and because of spring break it will be easier to collect it then.  AND I won't have to worry about it while I'm on my cruise!!  Thank you so much.  I am sorry that this month is so messy but we will get everything in that the kids need to learn!  When we get back to school on March 20th, we will begin hatching our baby chicks!!  Another big thing I want to mention is, we will be starting our sight words this week!  I will send home 6 words at a time.  please go over them with your child.  Their first book will go home with them on March 7th.  I'm excited for them to start reading and I know they will love it.  Again thank you for all your support with this next month. -MS.Toni

Fun and Busy Day!!

As you can see we had a lot of fun today but we also worked hard.

Evan was a great leader and he brought a good healthy snack.

We found out that we need more time reviewing the letters, our names,

and numbers.  We just didn't have time to go over everything! 

I'm going to continue working with the kids next week

and then I will send home the alphabet and name practice chart.

I just put them in the sheet protectors and they use

a dry eraser pen.  It wipes off really easy so they

can use them over and over.

They seem to know how to count their numbers

but the  recognition is still a little hard.

We will work more on this and I hope

You parents with help them also.

Please send back all nursery rhymes so

we can put our books together!  I know a few of you

have misplaced some, I have a few extras that I

will give them.  But please send all the ones you can find.

President's Day

We missed Luke today :( 

We had a fun day learning about President Lincoln and his one room cabin

and President Washington and the white powder he put in his hair!

We ate apples with caramel.

We also got a new nursery rhyme- "Little Jack Horner"

I just want to let you all know what is going on for the next few weeks.

I am leaving for my cruise on Thursday, March 1st. 

I will be teaching Wednesday Feb. 29th to make up that Thursday.

The following Tuesday, March 6th and Wed., March 7th my daughter

Tasha will be teaching the class for me.  She has to work on Thursdays,

that is why the class will be on Tues. & Wed.

After that we have Spring Break.  We will return to a normal schedule

on Tuesday March 20th.  I will post the March Calendar before I leave.

I hope this will be OK for all of you.  Please let me know of any concerns

What a fun Valentine's Day party!  We had such a great time

and everyone brought such cute valentines'.

and the party today just topped everything off!  I love

all so helpful and supportive to your kids.

I just wanted to remind you all to bring your Valentines' with you on Tuesday!

You don't have to write a name on each of them but be sure to bring enough

for 9 kids.  We will decorate bags in class to put them in.

And don't forget to bring Lot's of LOVE!
